Indications of Doxiva 100 ml
Asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease symptoms are treated and prevented with the help of Doxiva (a lung disorder in which the flow of air to the lung is blocked). It facilitates airway relaxation, which opens up the airway and facilitates easier breathing. Doxiva can be taken in the evening with food. To get the most benefit, however, take it at the same time each day. Depending on what you are using it for, you should adjust the dosage and frequency. How much improvement in your symptoms is required will be decided by your doctor. As long as it has been prescribed for you, you should continue taking this medication.
Pharmacology
A brand-new class of bronchodilators is Doxophyllin. The structural difference between it and theophylline is caused by the presence of a dioxolane group at position 7. By specifically inhibiting phosphodiesterase 4, Doxophyllin relaxes bronchial smooth muscle. The greater safety of the drug may be due to the fact that doxophylline, unlike theophylline, appears to have a reduced affinity for the A1 and A2 adenosine receptors. Leukotriene and platelet-activating factor (PAF) production may be inhibited by Doxophyllin, according to some reports.
Dosage & Administration
Seniors should take a 200 mg tablet two or three times per day.
Adults: Take a 400 mg tablet two or three times per day, or as your doctor directs.
Children:
Above 12 years of age: two or three 200 mg tablets or 10 ml syrup doses per day.
6 to 12 years old: 6 to 9 mg/kg body weight twice daily, or 3 ml (60 mg) twice daily if the child weighs 10 kg, or as directed by a doctor.
If a daily dose of 400 mg of doxophylline is required, doxophylline SR tablets should be taken once daily, or as directed by a doctor.
Interactions of Doxiva 100 ml
Other xanthine derivatives should not be administered alongside doxolin. Ephedrine and xanthine toxicity have been shown to work in concert. Like other xanthines, the combination of cimetidine, ranitidine, propranolol, lincomycin, clindamycin, allopurinol, and influenza vaccine may decrease liver clearance. the capacity of xanthines to elevate blood concentrations There is no proof that the level of serum adriamycin correlates with toxicity incidents.

However, due to limited human experience during pregnancy, xanthines should be administered to pregnant women only when clearly necessary. Doxophyllin is contraindicated in nursing mothers.
Precautions and Warnings
It takes time to start working, so it shouldn't be used to treat urgent breathing issues. A fast-acting (rescue) inhaler should always be kept on you. Your doctor may perform routine blood tests to check your body's potassium levels and the concentration of this medication. If you have ever had kidney, liver, or heart disease, or if you smoked in the past, let your doctor know. You might need to change your dose. Despite feeling better, do not stop using without first talking to your doctor.
